Everyone online has an opinion on how to learn a language. After a year and a half of learning a language from scratch, I’ve developed a few of my own.
Hi! My name is Cindy and I’ve been working on my L3 (Spanish) since December 2024.
From how to stay “consistent” with learning a language when it is just a hobby (instead of a big reason like love, a job, or an international move), to whether or not comprehensible input is the way to go about learning a language, and to growing up as a heritage speaker of Mandarin and recovering my ability to read and write in that language–here I will share my experiences, thoughts, and progress with you all: what I think worked, what didn’t, and my honest thoughts on the different things out there in the market to help you learn a language.
